22nd Overall Selection

Previously, we had Rodions Kurucs in the #2 slot for this pick. To the surprise of many, he opted to remove his name from this year’s draft on Monday’s deadline. Some expected him to go as high as 15, others believed he could fall to the second round. Without a doubt, his name will be in the draft next year, and it could be in the lottery.

With that being said, here’s the updated big board for the Nets’ 22nd overall pick. DraftExpress has the Nets selecting OG Anunoby out of Indiana.

I’ll take it.

If you can’t tell, whenever this guy has an opportunity to flush one home, he goes for it all. If you’re in his way, I’m sorry. The Nets would love his aggressiveness.

Again, all of these players are ‘bigs.’ While Sean Marks wants to address the ‘3’ position, I believe Brooklyn can find tremendous value in some under-the-radar frontcourt players that could be around for many years.
