Second Round: Picks 31-45

For the second round, I will list the top two players for each range of picks. For 31-45, I believe the Nets will look to add a pair of combo guards. Many believe they will pursue a point guard (Juwan Evans seems to be a fan favorite), but with Jeremy Lin, Isaiah Whitehead and Spencer Dinwiddie, Brooklyn has a very formidable point-guard rotation. Whitehead and Dinwiddie are only going to continue to grow and mature.

While neither of these players posses the ‘star’ potential that fans may want to see, they both can be steady contributors for many years. They won’t have to worry about effort with either of these players, either. That’s been something Marks has made clear during his time in Brooklyn: he wants players who will compete. Developing the talent will be up to the Nets, but constant effort is a great starting point.
