5. Jarret Jack

Drafted: June 28, 2005 by the Denver Nuggets

The Nets front office will deem this year’s draft a success if the number 22 pick yields a combo guard who becomes a solid rotation player for the majority of his career. Because, since being drafted by the Denver Nuggets in 2005, that is exactly what Jarret Jack has been.

Although a torn meniscus ended Jack’s comeback attempt with the New Orleans Pelicans after only three games this season, he enjoyed a stellar 12 year NBA career. Jack has a career scoring mark of 11 points-per-game, including seven seasons where he averaged double figures in scoring.

Jack had stints with eight different NBA teams, but Nets fans remember him most when he called the Barclays home from 2014-16. His final season as a Net, saw Jack average a career best seven assists per contest as he started all 32 games before a ACL injury prematurely halted his season.
