Brooklyn Nets: the top draft choices at pick #22 of all time
4. Leonard Robinson
Drafted: May 28, 1974 by the Washington Bullets (present day Wizards)
Leonard Robinson’s nickname of “Truck” perfectly exemplifies the type of player he was throughout his 11 year NBA career.
A 6-7 forward, Robinson was a great two-way player. He could bang inside with the big boys of his era such as Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Bill Walton and hold his own with the scorers of his time such as George Gervin and Walt Frazier.
Robinson is a two-time NBA All-Star and made the All-NBA Team in 1978 after averaging 22.7 points-per-game, a league best 15.7 rebounds-per-game, and whopping 44.4 minutes-per-game.
Not too shabby for a 22nd pick, right?
