Justin Jackson
Pros: Winners mentality, great shooter especially from 3pt-range, versatile and can defend multiple positions
Cons: Can be streaky at times, needs to improve physical tools for NBA
Justin Jackson seems to be one of the safer picks the Nets can make with the 22nd pick. His skill set will not blow you away, but he can provide some energy off the bench. Caris LaVert seems to be slotted in at the starting forward position next year so Jackson could provide an alternative match up against bigger teams. There’s no doubt that Jackson has the mentality and work ethic to fit head coach Kenny Atkinson’s team philosophy. This past season Jackson showed some great flashes of his three-point shooting ability. If he continues to work on this, there will always be a role for him in the NBA.
