Isaiah Whitehead, PG

2016-17 Stats: 7.4 PPG, 2.6 APG, 40.2 FG%, 29.5 3FG%, 73 GP, 26 GS

Whitehead enters his sophomore season in the league. As such, he is expected to grow and use the lessons he learned during his rookie campaign. While his minutes will likely decrease as Dinwiddie takes a bigger role within the team, Whitehead should still get a chance to prove why he belongs in Brooklyn.

He impressed last year, scoring in double digits 19 times. He also had a 24-point game in a loss to the Dallas Mavericks on March 10. The rookie had an up-and-down season, but that is to be expected for his first year in the league.

There is not much to be said for The Cyclone’s role. He will be the third point guard off of the bench and will play marginally. But based off of his performance last season, expect Whitehead to make the most of the minutes given to him.
