We start with the most electric and “showtime”-like lineup that the Nets could bring out in the upcoming campaign. The point guard battle was an easy one to solve, with Jeremy Lin coming off an injury and Isaiah Whitehead’s troubling turnover percentage, Russell is surely the most competent ball handler for this fast break lineup.

Next up, Crabbe is one of the purest shooters at his position and would benefit from a ton of open looks. He would punish defenses. The forward positions are also sufficiently self-explanatory. LeVert easily gets the nod over DeMarre Carroll. The combination of the Michigan product’s length and speed and the fact that the ex-Raptor is coming off an injury-plagued season bodes well for LeVert’s playing time.

It is egregious that Hollis-Jefferson has not been in a slam dunk contest yet in his career. His leaping ability and defense would fit perfectly with this offense. He would give the Nets a nice target in the paint.

And last, but not least, the focal point of this lineup is the big man from Texas. It is so rare in the NBA that a big man has the ability to run the floor on the fast break. The Net’s 22nd pick offers a unique skillset. He is a talented finisher at the rim and has great agility for a near 7-footer. Partner that with his 7’5 wingspan, and you have a monster near the rim, eating up lobs. He is the nucleus of this lineup, creating mismatches on the break and in transition. This lineup has the chance to yield very successful results this upcoming season.
