Brooklyn Nets: The top Nets games to watch for this season
November 3rd – D’Angelo Russell’s return to Los Angeles
The game not only Nets and Lakers fans have marked on their calendars, but most NBA fans as well. Disappointingly, yet understandably, this is not a nationally televised game. In fact, the Nets have zero nationally televised games this upcoming season.
The end of the short D’Angelo Russell Era in Los Angeles left both sides with bad tastes in their mouths. Now, the Lakers have a new shiny weapon in Lonzo Ball. So do the Nets though. D’Angelo Russell has been handed the keys to the Nets, and it’s not hard to believe he will look to take the wheel on November 3rd, against the Lakers in Los Angeles.
After the recent comments made by Magic Johnson, it seems a fire has been lit under Russell. He has been seen working with new teammate, Caris LeVert at 2AM at the HSS Training Facility and has seemed to be angered by the Lakers’ all-time assists leader.
Russell would go on to say, “I’m off your hands. I have nothing to do with you. I’m on a new team, I have nothing to do with it so I didn’t understand the comments, I still don’t.”
Sounds like Russell will hope his former boss shows up courtside, because it seems like Russell will on the court. Watch out Earvin, Russell is about to show you some ‘magic’.
