Brooklyn Nets: The top Nets games to watch for this season

January 15th – MLK Day Battle of the Boroughs Matinee (versus the New York Knicks)

While this isn’t the first time the Nets will face the Knicks during their 2017-18 campaign, it seems like it should be the most interesting. For the third time since the team’s move to Brooklyn, the Nets will face the Knicks in a MLK Day Matinee. For the first time however, this contest will occur in Brooklyn.

Now, I am a firm believer that Nets vs Knicks matchups should be viewed as just another game. But these games are still always interesting to watch. No matter the arena, tip off time or team records, there always is a lively crowd on hand.

With both teams unsure of how they will perform this season, this can be a fun game to watch. For the last few seasons we’ve seen the Nets and Knicks be deadlocked. While the Knicks have held better records than the Nets, the series has been split for the last few seasons. So don’t be surprised if the same happens this year.
