NBA 2K has announced the inclusion of all-time rosters for NBA 2K18. These rosters would include the best 15 players for each of the 30 teams in the NBA. 2K announced the Brooklyn Nets’ roster this past week.
The Brooklyn Nets have had a storied franchise. While the Nets have not traditionally had much success, they have had tons of great players. Names like Vince Carter, Jason Kidd and “Dr. J” Julius Irving come to mind.
As such, their all-time roster includes many of those names. While players will be able to customize their lineups, the set starters for the Nets are Kidd at point, Drazen Petrovic at shooting guard, Irving at small forward and Buck Williams and Brook Lopez at the four and five respectively.
Kidd is probably best known for leading the Nets to their two NBA Finals appearances. He made the All NBA First Team in his first season as a Net and also made the All NBA Defensive First Team. Not to mention, he’s a 95 overall. Kidd spent seven seasons in New Jersey, before coaching the team for the 2013-14 season.
Petrovic experienced a breakout with the Nets. He went from a three-point with the Portland Trail Blazers to reaching the All NBA Third Team as a Net. “Petro,” as he was known in America, started every game in the 1991-92 season and averaged 20.6 points per game. 2K rated him a 90 overall.
Dr. J is one of the most famous high flyers in NBA history. While he’s most famously known for playing with the Philadelphia 76ers while in the NBA, Irving played with the Nets during their days in the ABA. He averaged 28.2 points per game during his three seasons as a New York Net. Irving will be a 97 overall, making him the highest rated Net on the all-time roster.

Williams had his most successful seasons as a Net, despite reaching popularity with the Trail Blazers. He averaged 18.3 points per game in 1987-88, his season in New Jersey, but was unable to prevent the Nets from being the second-worst team in the league that year. He will be an 88 overall.
Lopez will the man the center. The big man is the Nets all-time leading scorer and had been the franchise player since the team moved to Brooklyn. Lopez was traded to the Los Angeles Lakers this past June for D’Angelo Russell and Timofey Mozgov. Lopez is an 87 overall for the all-time roster. 2K has not announced his overall with the Lakers.

The bench includes Vince Carter at an 89 overall and Richard Jefferson at 88. Derrick Coleman is the back up center for the team, at an 87 overall. Joe Johnson and Deron Williams will also come off the bench, both being 87 overall. Kenyon Martin and Keith Van Horn join Kidd as the only Nets to reach the Finals on the roster, at 86 apiece. Devin Harris, Kendall Gill and Kenny Anderson round out the roster and are also 86’s overall.
