With the Brooklyn Nets opening the season tomorrow night in Indiana, we break down each player in terms of value and importance to the team. As the season goes on, there will be injuries, surprises, disappointments and possibly new faces. But for now, the Nets are healthy and full of optimism.

After one season at the helm in Brooklyn, Kenny Atkinson has instilled a completely new style of Nets basketball. No more iso-ball, no more slow-paced offense, no more Brook Lopez. The Nets are now a team that wants to push tempo while throwing waves of players at the opposition.

How did it work last year? Well, the Nets were number one in the league in pace, while attempting the third-highest amount of three-pointers, trailing only the Houston Rockets and Golden State Warriors. However, a lot of the shots didn’t fall, and the Nets finished 21st in percentage of field goals assisted on.

The result was a 20-62 season, which was the worst record in the NBA.

Entering the 2017-18 season, we know to expect change. New faces are scattered across the roster, and will be heavily depended on to lead this organization in the right direction.

The Nets enter Bankers Life Fieldhouse coming off an encouraging preseason. All fine and dandy. What’s more important is the Nets health, which plagued their season mightily last year. Allen Crabbe and Caris LeVert were held out of preseason contests with ankle injuries, but both returned and are expected to be full-go’s on Wednesday night.

So, with that said, we break down the fifteen players on the Nets roster.
