General manager Sean Marks has been known to wheel and deal throughout his 18 months with the Brooklyn Nets. It does not matter if a player is a fan favorites like Brook Lopez and Trevor Booker, anyone can be traded. But there are some players on this year’s team that should be considered untouchable in trade talks.

D’Angelo Russell and Jahlil Okafor

These to are pretty obvious. They were traded to Brooklyn this year to become the faces of the franchise. No need to prematurely end their tenures so soon

Caris Levert

The Nets think very highly of Levert. He’s a little raw right now, and can get a little out of control, but you see how much potential this kid has. He can do it all. Slash and get to the rim? Check. Hit the three ball? Check. Pass? Check. Defend? Check. High Basketball IQ? Check.

More from Nothin' But Nets

Rondae Hollis-Jefferson

RHJ has really came into his own this year moving to the 4. His 21/11/6 stat line Friday night against the Wizards shows that he has what it takes to be a key contributor for Brooklyn. His length and ability to hit crazy shots his unmatched. The addition of a serviceable mid range jump shot has helped. If he can get it to the three point line, watch out.

Spencer Dinwiddie

GOATwiddie is helping keep the ship afloat while Russell is out. Has his weaknesses been exposed recently as he’s had to play more minutes? Yes. But with a healthy D’Angelo, Dinwiddie is the perfect backup point guard behind him. Thank God we have him instead of Yogi Farrell, right?

Jarrett Allen

I mean, the guy is only 19!! His ability to block shots, and finish at the rim is ridiculous for a player his age. He fits Kenny Atkinson’s system perfectly as a big to finish lobs in the pick and role. Again, he’s pretty raw, but he’s only 19!! Did I mention that? I’m not sure. Fear the Fro.
