10. Jahlil Okafor

Jahlil Okafor was acquired by the Brooklyn Nets last December while looking to rebuild his career.

The big man was sidelined early into his Nets tenure due to lack of conditioning. However despite the lack of minutes, when Okafor was on the floor for the Nets his presence was felt.

On the offensive end of the floor, Okafor was constantly guarded in the post. When the ball was in his hands, he would bully in the post or dish the ball back out. His impact was felt more off-the-ball.

When the ball was not in his hands, he helped the Nets spread the floor. Brooklyn’s offense work best when running a small ball. Okafor would lure defenders to the post giving the Nets guards room to shoot the ball.

On the defensive end, opposing teams loved to target down low when playing Brooklyn. Okafor’s defensive impact was not stellar but he did the job. He would lock down opposing big men and force mid-range shots.
