8. Allen Crabbe

The most expensive Net did not perform to his worth this season. He did have a solid season averaging 13.2 points per game, but not enough for a player making just over $19 million this past season.

Crabbe was Brooklyn’s primary shooting guard during the 2017-2018 season. He stayed healthy throughout the year playing 75 of Brooklyn’s 82 games this season.

The 26-year-old guard thrived best on the offensive end and was one of Brooklyn’s top scoring threats.  Crabbe was a good go-to option in clutch situations for the Nets. He also shot the three-ball with great confidence but not consistent execution.

During the 2017-2018 season, Crabbe shot the three-ball at 37.8 percent. The three-point line is where Crabbe shot the ball with the most confidence but not with the most consistency.

Crabbe was not the most consistent three-point shooter on the Nets this past season. On the other hand, he did light up the scoreboard when he had his three-ball working but that was not every game.

The Nets need Crabbe to extend his game and not just be a sharpshooter next season. If Crabbe can improve his game inside the three-point line, he could become Brooklyn’s most lethal scorer.
