The Brooklyn Nets open their Las Vegas Summer League season Friday against the Orlando Magic. There is a lot of young talent on the Nets roster with high potential and expectations. Who are the players to watch on the Nets roster?

The Brooklyn Nets entry in the Las Vegas Summer League has the potential to win a good amount of games this summer. The team includes some well-known names such as Jarrett Allen and Caris LeVert. These two players Nets fans are aware of and know what talent they express.

Aside from those players, there are many players waiting to make a name for themselves. Nets head coach Kenny Atkinson is expecting to add some summer league players to his active roster.

One player we won’t see on the court in Las Vegas is first-round pick Dzanan Musa.

The Bosnian 19-year-old played in a career-high 75 games last season between his club team, Cedevita Zagreb, and his national team in FIBA World Cup qualifying and the Nets are opting to have him in Vegas to practice and observe.

Last summer, the Brooklyn Nets had a good session. They were not able to win the tournament but stars like LeVert and others made names for themselves and took their talents to the next level.

According to Tom Dowd of NBA.com, Brooklyn’s first three games have been announced.

  • Orlando Magic- Friday,, 5 p.m ET (NBA TV)
  • Oklahoma City Thunder- Saturday, 7 p.m ET (NBA TV)
  • Minnesota Timberwolves- Monday, 11 p.m ET (ESPNU)

With all that being said, Brooklyn has some young talent on their summer league roster. With all the young talent on the court, who are the players the Nets and their fans should keep an eye on?
