BRYANT CRAWFORD. C-. . PG. Brooklyn Nets

Bryant Crawford was Brooklyn’s third-string guard option in the Summer League. He did not get much playing time, only playing 32 minutes in four games. Due to the lack of minutes, Crawford had trouble showing what kind of guard play he can bring to the court.

Crawford had trouble scoring the ball on the offensive end of the floor. In fact, he did not shoot the ball at all really. He was 2-for-12 overall and 1-for-6 from 3-point range. He commonly passed the ball when it was in his hands and spread the floor for the offense.

Same thing goes with his play on the defensive end of the floor. He helped spread out the defense, but did stay on his man. Due to the small amount of minutes, it is hard to judge his defensive presence.

Overall, Crawford got the short end of the stick at the guard position. He received the fewest minutes, which is unfortunate. The guard is not likely to be a part of the Nets training camp in a couple months and his basketball future is uncertain.

Four players on the Summer League roster did not play.
