Caris LeVert (Small Forward)

Caris LeVert will be entering his third NBA season with the Brooklyn Nets. Since his rookie season, LeVert has been improving and embracing bigger roles off the bench.

LeVert is a great wing for the Brooklyn Nets. In the beginning of the 2017-2018 season, LeVert had trouble shooting the 3 ball and primarily focused his offensive game from mid-range. He has been working on his 3-point shooting during the season and this offseason.

More from Nothin' But Nets

It is important for LeVert to find his stroke from behind the arc to give Brooklyn more options on the offensive end.

The small forward does a good job of spreading the floor on the offensive end. He is a hard cover for defenders due to his versatile style of play. He can pull up from mid-range off a drive, spot up shoot or take it to the basket and finish.

Regarding driving the ball, LeVert has shown he can finish with both hands at the rim. To go along with his dominant finishing, LeVert thrives when driving through traffic. He seeks contact when driving to the basket and wants to finish the play with three points.

On the defensive end, LeVert is a great defender. He does a good job sticking on his man and reading the defense. He is a great steal caliper defender who can take it all the way and score on the opposite end.

LeVert will be coming off the bench for Brooklyn a lot next season. He embraces his role of coming off the bench and is one of Brooklyn’s best assets off the bench. Expect LeVert to get more minutes next season and take on a bigger role for Brooklyn.
