The New Jersey Nets were shopping for frontcourt help at the trade deadline in February 2006 when they landed combo forward Bostjan Nachbar from the New Orleans Hornets in exchange for Marc Jackson, Linton Johnson and cash considerations.
Entering the 2006-16 period as a reserve up front, Nachbar provided the Nets with some solid shooting from the perimeter during his two seasons, placing seventh in the NBA in 2006-07 with a 61.4 true shooting percentage.
