With the lull of the NBA offseason in full swing, we at Nothin’ But Nets look back at some of our favorite Brooklyn Nets franchise players of all time.

The 2018-19 season marks the 51st year in the Brooklyn Nets franchise’s history (including the ABA years as the New Jersey Americans and the New York Nets). While the uniforms, names, homecourts and even leagues of the team change, our memory of our favorite moments don’t.

More from Nothin' But Nets

However or whenever we became Nets fans, we can all remember a couple of players that reeled us in, whether it was legendary figures like “Dr. J” or “The Mozart of Basketball“, or star role players like Kenyon Martin or Kendall Gill.

With a little over a half a century’s worth of basketball players, we at Nothin’ But Nets take a look back at some of our favorite Nets players. Our staff spans multiple generations, everyone joining the fandom at different points of this team’s long history.

Depending on how long you’ve been following Nets basketball, this list may drop a couple of names that you’re not too familiar with, but there are definitely some people you will know if you’ve just hopped onto the bandwagon recently.

We just hope that some of our choices don’t age us too much.

Obviously our list can’t hold every big name and a lot of great players were left off, but who are some of your favorite Nets?
