James Webb III, who played in 10 games for the Brooklyn Nets on a 2-way contract last season, is reportedly headed to Germany.
According to a report, former Brooklyn Nets forward James Webb III has agreed to a deal with Telekom Baskets Bonn in the German top division, the Basketball Bundesliga.
Webb signed a two-way contract with the Nets in January and played in 10 games with Brooklyn while also appearing in 19 games for the G League’s Long Island Nets.

Emiliano Carchia of the European basketball site Sportando reported Tuesday that Webb had come to terms Bonn after initially being expected to join Italian club Pallacanestro Cantu.
That came after he started the season with the Delaware 87ers in the G League, where he also played in 2016-17 after he was undrafted coming out of Boise State.
In his 10 games with the Nets, the 6-foot-9, 202-pound wing player averaged 1.6 points and 2.4 rebounds in 12.0 minutes per game, shooting .250/4-for-19/—.
Webb was turned loose as a stretch big with Long Island, taking a whopping 8.6 3-pointers per game in 19 games with the Nets, while averaging 14.3 points, 6.6 rebounds and 1.2 steals in 30.2 minutes per game on .406/.374/.872 shooting.
That came after he put up 11.6 points, 6.7 rebounds and 1.3 steals in 27.3 minutes a night with Delaware, where he posted a slash line of .420/.366/.735.
Webb was not tendered a qualifying offer by the Nets and entered the new league year on July 1 as an unrestricted free agent. He was one of three players, along with Jahlil Okafor and Dante Cunningham, whose rights were renounced by Brooklyn on July 6.
The renouncements allowed Brooklyn to clear the cap holds of the three free agents in order to fit the contract of Dwight Howard, acquired officially on July 6 in a trade from the Charlotte Hornets, onto the cap sheet.
Webb played his first two seasons of prep basbetkabll at Curtis Baptist High School in his hometown of Augusta, Ga., before transferring for his final two years at The Oaks Virtual School in Hilton Head, S.C.
He played his freshman year at North Idaho College before transferring to Boise State, where he played two seasons.
Webb declared for the NBA Draft after his junior season, but was not selected after averaging 15.8 points, 9.1 rebounds and 1.4 steals per game for the Broncos, who were 20-12 and not invited to posseason play.
Webb signed with the Philadelphia 76ers in July 2016 and was waived in training camp, setting him up for a spot on their G League affiliate in Delaware.
He re-signed with the 76ers last October and was immediately waived, but that move allowed his G League rights to be retained by the 87ers.
Webb played with the Nets entry at the Las Vegas Summer League, averaging 7.2 points and 6.2 rebounds in 18.7 minutes per game on .412/.381/0-for-1 shooting.

It is likely Webb will have an NBA-out clause with Bonn, allowing him to leave Germany if he gets an NBA offer. Otherwise, expect Webb to try to catch on with a Summer League opportunity next year in an effort to return to the NBA.
Telekom Baskets Bonn was 21-16 last season in the Basketball Bundesliga, finishing eighth, and was 5-9 in the Basketball Champions League after going 2-0 in BCL qualifying.
Bonn will compete in both circuits again this season. The club is coached by Bosnian native Predrag Krunic, entering his third year on the job. He also coached the club from 2001-05.
Veteran Josh Mayo led Bonn in scoring last season at 14.0 points per game across all competitions.
The 31-year-old played collegiately at Illinois-Chicago and was undrafted in 2009, with his only NBA opportunity coming with the Dallas Macericns in the 2010 Las Vegas Summer League.
Since going to Europe in 2011, Mayo has played in Latvia, Italy, Turkey and Spain before joining Bonn in 2016.
Other players with American experience include T.J. DiLeo, who played at Temple from 2008-13 and Germans Martin Breunig (University of Montana) and Jarelle Reischel (Eastern Kentucky). Reischel also played briefly in the G League in 2017.
