The Brooklyn Nets head on the road for the remainder of the preseason, beginning Monday night when they visit the Detroit Pistons. Here’s 3 things to watch.

The Brooklyn Nets (0-1) visit the Detroit Pistons (1-1) Monday night at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, as the Nets close their four-game preseason slate with their remaining three games on the road.

More from Nothin' But Nets

The Nets opened their preseason Wednesday with a 107-102 loss at Barclays Center to the New York Knicks.

In that game, Brooklyn shot just 38.9 percent from the floor and was just 8-for-41 from 3-point range (19.5 percent). The Nets lost the rebounding battle 49-45, even as they outscored the Knicks in the paint 46-44 and forced 25 New York turnovers.

Caris LeVert led Brooklyn with 15 points, while Rodions Kurucs and Spencer Dinwiddie each scored 13, Treveon Graham and D’Angelo Russell finished with 11 each and Joe Harris had 10.

Graham paced the Nets with eight rebounds, Dinwiddie had six assists, LeVert and Kurucs each had four steals and Jarrett Allen blocked two shots.

Enes Kanter had a huge night for the Knicks, finishing with 22 points and 20 rebounds.

The Pistons opened their preseason with a 97-91 win at Oklahoma City on Wednesday before taking a 117-93 pasting in San Antonio on Friday.

Andre Drummond is leading the Pistons in the preseason with 49 points and 26 rebounds in the first two games. Detroit was ice cold in the loss to the Spurs, shooting 34.8 percent overall and 10-for-39 from 3-point land (25.6 percent).

Despite Drummond’s 10 rebounds in 25 minutes, the Pistons were annihilated on the glass by a 53-39 margin, with point guard Dejounte Murray leading the charge with 16 points and 11 rebounds in just 22 minutes.

On the injury front, reserve forward Jon Leuer is listed as day-to-day with a knee injury. Keith Langlois of Pistons.com reported Sunday that Leuer took part in 5-on-5 practice for the first time.

For Brooklyn, Michael Scotto of The Athletic reported that Kenneth Faried has been cleared to play Monday after sitting out Wednesday with an ankle injury, but that Rondae Hollis-Jefferson (left abductor strain), Shabazz Napier (strained hamstring) and Alan Williams (sprained left ankle) will each miss their second straight games.

Here’s three things to watch when the Nets battle the Pistons Monday. Tip off is 7 p.m. Eastern and the game can be seen on YES Network (you can pick up a subscription to Fubo to stream all the action).
