The Brooklyn Nets visit the Detroit Pistons Monday night at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit. Here is the information for TV, live streaming and the game.

The Brooklyn Nets begin the road portion of their four-game preseason schedule Monday night when they visit Little Caesars Arena to take on the Detroit Pistons.

The Pistons are 1-1 in the preseason, beating Oklahoma City on the road on Wednesday before falling Friday to the Spurs in San Antonio, 117-93.

More from Nothin' But Nets

Brooklyn is 0-1, losing their opener Wednesday at Barclays Center to the New York Knicks, 107-102.

Last season, Detroit and the Nets met four times, with the Pistons taking a 3-1 edge in the series.  Detroit also leads the all-time series between the teams dating back to the Nets’ entry into the NBA in 1976.

The Nets are 69-106 against Detroit and have lost the last two regular-season meetings.

However, Brooklyn beat the Pistons the last time they met in the preseason, taking a 101-94 win over Detroit at Barclays Center to open the 2016 preseason.

In that Oct. 6, 2016, encounter, it was a very different Nets team that faced the Pistons. It was such a different group, in fact, that only Rondae Hollis-Jefferson, Joe Harris and Caris LeVert were on the roster that night and remain with the Nets today.

Of course, the Pistons have changed considerably as well. They still had Andre Drummond at center and Ish Smith started at point guard. The other three starters from that game are long gone.

For Brooklyn, the game provides young center Jarrett Allen another opportunity against an elite rebounder in Drummond.
