C-. 28 MIN, 11 PTS, 3-for-16 (1-for-6), 4 REB (2 ORB), 7 AST, fouled out, 4 TO, -19. PG/SG. Brooklyn Nets. SPENCER DINWIDDIE

One of the things you love about Spencer Dinwiddie is his unfailing confidence that he can score on anyone, anytime. Even on those nights when he can’t.

Dinwiddie did not have the shot falling Saturday night, going 1-for-6 from deep and just 2-for-10 inside the arc. His seven assists were offset by four turnovers.

It was one of those games where that fine line between aggressive and forcing things was crossed by Dinwiddie, which is the occasional price the Nets have to pay for a player who can be a game-changer when he’s locked in.

C+. 26 MIN, 5 PTS, 2-for-2 (1-for-1), 2 REB, 1 AST, 1 PF, +4. PF. Brooklyn Nets. JARED DUDLEY

Jared Dudley didn’t do anything overtly bad Saturday night. But outside of a two-possession flurry during which he took and made both of his shot attempts, he didn’t do much overtly good, either.

Dudley did avoid the “what???” moment with the basketball, not turning it over. But he was overmatched defensively by larger forwards Danilo Gallinari and Tobias Harris and the Nets paid the price for being forced to go so small at the 4.
