The Brooklyn Nets make their annual trip to American Airlines Center Wednesday night to face the Dallas Mavericks. Here’s how to catch the action.

The Brooklyn Nets look to keep up their winning ways at American Airlines Center Wednesday night when they visit the Dallas Mavericks in the first meeting of the season between the teams.

For the Nets (8-10), the game is the second of a back-to-back after Brooklyn beat the Miami Heat on the road Tuesday night 104-92.

The Mavericks (7-9) have a day’s rest after a 98-88 loss Monday to the Memphis Grizzlies on the road.

The Mavericks are dealing with some injuries, most recently to point guard Dennis Smith, who sprained his right wrist in Monday’s loss at Memphis and is questionable for the matchup with Brooklyn.

Tuesday night in Miami, D’Angelo Russell scored 20 points for the Nets, including eight in a row during a key stretch late in the fourth quarter, to lift Brooklyn to the win. He also had six assists and four steals.

Jarrett Allen recorded his third straight double-double with 13 points, 14 rebounds and two blocks. Spencer Dinwiddie added 16 points and seven assists.

Smith scored 19 points with five assists on Monday in Dallas’ loss to the Grizzlies, in which Memphis outscored the Mavericks 24-14 to break open a tie game in the fourth quarter.

DeAndre Jordan finished with 17 points and 20 rebounds for Dallas, Luka Doncic went for 15 points and 10 boards and Maxi Kleber blocked a pair of shots off the bench.

Since the Mavericks entered the NBA as an expansion team in 1980, the Nets are 31-43 against them.

Dallas won 11 straight games against the Nets from Dec. 10, 2000, to Jan. 14, 2006, while the Nets longest run was six games from Nov. 29, 1991, to Feb. 27, 1994.

The highest scoring game in the series goes all the way back to the Mavericks’ inaugural season, when Dallas posted a 132-109 win over the Nets at Piscataway, N.J., on Feb. 22, 1981. The Nets’ highest output was in a 126-124 loss to the Mavericks at East Rutherford, N.J., on Feb. 17, 1986.

The largest blowout of the series was a 110-77 win by the Mavericks in Dallas on Jan. 14, 2006. The most lopsided win for the Nets was a 117-90 victory in East Rutherford on Feb. 27, 1994. (Yes, those were also the final victories in each team’s longest winning streak against the other.)

At the individual level, Dallas’ Mark Aguirre scored 43 points against the Nets in a 119-107 win at East Rutherford on March 24, 1987. For the Nets, current Maverick Devin Harris scored 41 points in New Jersey’s 121-97 win at East Rutherford on Dec. 19, 2008.

Since the Nets moved to Brooklyn in 2012, the series is even at 6-6. Brook Lopez has the top individual game with 38 points in a 113-96 win at Dallas on March 20, 2013.

March 17 at Brooklyn: Caris LeVert’s layup early in the fourth quarter put the Nets ahead to stay and they pulled away for a 114-106 victory over the Mavericks after trailing entering the final period.

Rondae Hollis-Jefferson had 23 points for Brooklyn, while D’Angelo Russell added 22 points and six assists. DeMarre Carroll finished with 19 points and 12 rebounds and Jarrett Allen had four blocked shots.

Dennis Smith paced Dallas with 21 points and two blocks. Dirk Nowitzki went for 13 points and even rebounds, Jalen Jones had 16 points and seven boards and Kyle Collinsworth also finished with seven rebounds. Yogi Ferrell logged 12 points and 12 assists.
