The Brooklyn Nets didn’t offer a lot of resistance Saturday night in a 102-88 loss to the Washington Wizards than ran their losing skid to a season-high 6 games.

The Brooklyn Nets, fresh off a double-overtime loss to the Memphis Grizzlies less than 24 hours earlier, never really got into a flow at Capital One Arena Saturday night, taking a 102-88 loss at the hands of the Washington Wizards.

The Nets (8-16) lost their sixth game in a row Saturday and fell to 1-1 in this season’s series with the Wiz (9-14). They will host Washington twice this season, on Dec. 14 and again on Feb. 27.

Brooklyn set a new season low with 88 points, three fewer than their 91 points against the Utah Jazz at Barclays Center on Wednesday.

The Nets’ 37 percent shooting effort (30-for-81) was their second-lowest mark of the season, with only the 34.9 percent they shot against the Jazz being worse.

Their 8-for-33 shooting from 3-point range (24.2 percent) was the worst for Brooklyn since going 5-for-27 (18.5 percent) in the season opener against the Detroit Pistons on the road on Oct. 17.

Another disturbing trend was the 17 turnovers (19 including a pair of shot clock violations). The Nets have averaged 17.4 turnovers per game over their last five games and have had no fewer than 16 in that stretch.

That follows an 11-game run during which they never had more than 15 giveaways in a game.

The lineup combinations Saturday night were a hodge-podge and Washington’s Markieff Morris, who finished with 20 points — 15 of them in the fourth when the game got out of hand — called out the Nets on that.

The Nets had 13 players active and all of them saw at least four minutes of playing time. The inactives included injured Treveon Graham (left hamstring strain), Joe Harris (left adductor tightness) and Caris LeVert (subtalar dislocation, right foot).

The other inactive player was Alan Williams, who is with the Long Island Nets of the NBA G League on his two-way contract.

Here are the player grades from Saturday’s effort.
