Brooklyn Nets at Milwaukee Bucks: TV info, live stream, injury report

The Brooklyn Nets and Milwaukee Bucks meet Saturday for the 1st time this season and for the 1st-time ever at the new Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee.

The Brooklyn Nets wrap up the 2018 portion of their schedule this season with the back end of a road back-to-back against the Milwaukee Bucks, making their first trip to the new Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee for a matinee 5 p.m. Eastern (4 p.m. local) tip.

The Nets (17-20) dropped the first game of the back-to-back Friday night, losing to the Charlotte Hornets 100-87. The Bucks (24-10) come in with the best winning percentage in the NBA and won on Thursday at home, beating the New York Knicks 112-96.

D’Angelo Russell scored 33 points in the loss Friday for Brooklyn. Ed Davis finished with 11 rebounds, while Jarrett Allen grabbed 10 boards and blocked two shots. Spencer Dinwiddie handed out five assists and Rondae Hollis-Jefferson also posted two blocks.

On Thursday, Milwaukee overcame an early 10-point deficit to run away from the Knicks behind 31 points, 14 rebounds, eight assists and four blocks from All-Star Giannis Antetokounmpo. Khris Middleton added 25 points.

D.J. Wilson came off the bench for 10 points, 14 boards and two blocks, while reserves Thon Maker and Tony Snell also had two blocked shots each.

Since joining the NBA in 1976, the Nets are 72-98 all-time against the Bucks, who hold the longest winning streak in the series at 13 straight from March 30, 2009, to Dec. 26, 2012. The Nets’ longest run was eight consecutive wins from Dec. 5, 1991, to March 19, 1993.

Milwaukee hit a series-high in a 136-113 win at Milwaukee on Nov. 2, 1985, with the Nets taking a 135-100 win at East Rutherford on April 23, 1994, which is also the most one-sided win by the Nets.

The most lopsided game in the series was a 132-91 win by the Bucks at Milwaukee on Feb. 14, 1989.

Vince Carter holds the individual high in the series with 45 points in a Nets’ win at Milwaukee on Feb. 21, 2006. Michael Redd dropped 41 for the Bucks in a win at East Rutherford on Nov. 2, 2005, and Antetokounmpo matched that in a win at Barclays Center on Jan. 26.

The Nets are 7-14 against Milwaukee since moving to Brooklyn in 2012, with the Bucks taking 10 in a row from April 12, 2015, to Feb. 4 of this year. Brooklyn won five straight from Feb. 19, 2013, to March 1, 2014.

The Bucks scored a 129-125 win at Barclays Center on Feb. 15, 2017, for the highest-scoring game of the Brooklyn era. The Nets had a 129-127 triple-overtime win at Barclays Center on March 20, 2015, with their highest regulation total coming in the 129-125 loss in February 2017.

Brook Lopez, now with the Bucks, has the Brooklyn individual record against Milwaukee with 35 points in that Feb. 15, 2017, loss at home.
