TREVEON GRAHAM. B. 18 MIN, 3 PTS, 1-for-7 (1-for-3), 5 REB (3 ORB), 2 AST, 1 PF, 1 STL, 2 BLK, +17. SF/PF. Brooklyn Nets

It’s very easy to see why coach Kenny Atkinson loves Treveon Graham, the bouncy 6-foot-5 defender who seems to play like he’s 6-foot-11 at times.

When he gets his shooting touch back after a lengthy absence with a hamstring injury, he’s going to be a terrific 3-and-D option in the rotation.

Graham had three offensive rebounds among his five total boards, made a couple of nice dishes to teammates, notched a steal, blocked a couple of shots and was generally wreaking havoc on the defensive end.

Offensively, it’s a work in progress — 1-for-7 with one made 3 in three attempts. Graham is shooting 17.9 percent in his six games this season, four since returning from his injury, and is 2-for-16 from 3-point range.

But he also has six offensive boards, six assists, two steals and three blocks in limited time and his energy and defensive work is very good.

Jared Dudley bypassed the bench and went straight to the locker room after pulling up with an injured left hamstring in the third quarter Wednesday night.

While fans sometimes knock Dudley, the 33-year-old continues to get his praise from Brooklyn Nets coach Kenny Atkinson for the things he does that don’t immediately pop off a stat sheet.

His teammates respect those contributions as well, with Joe Harris telling the media via Greg Joyce of the New York Post after the game:

"“Obviously Jared is probably our most vocal guy in terms of a veteran leader. He really is the voice, the coach on the floor. Although you don’t see it in the stat sheet every night, he’s capable of having big games, but he does a lot more for us. “Hopefully he can get back soon because he is a very integral part of this team.”"

D’Angelo Russell also sent out some support for his teammate on social media.

For the immediate future, it appears Dudley will be doing his coaching from the sidelines.
