Brooklyn Nets should bring back Vince Carter for 1 last run

The chance to retire as an honored Net
We just very briefly went through some of the things that Vince Carter did in that New Jersey Nets jersey. He was truly half-man, half-amazing through those years. Bringing No. 15 back home to retire a Net is a move that would be good for the fans, Vince, the roster and the coaching staff.
Vince Carter and the Nets organization have always had a good relationship, so it just makes sense.
In December 2017, when Carter was in Brooklyn with his team at the time, the Sacramento Kings, he told Brian Lewis of the New York Post that having his number retired in Brooklyn would be very important to him.
"“When you hear people talk about it, of course (I’d love to have my number retired). For years to come, you walk in here and see your name in the rafters in an arena, a professional arena, that’s your dream come true for every player. “It’s a goal for guys. It means you’ve had a phenomenal career for that team. I would never tell them no, I’ll tell you that.”"
Because there were questions whether or not 2018-19 would be Carter’s final NBA seasons, the Brooklyn Nets put together a tribute video to Carter that they played during the second quarter of the Hawks’ final visit to Barclays Center on Jan. 9.
Let the legend come home and retire, then hang his jersey in our rafters where it belongs.
