The Brooklyn Nets’ dynamic tandem of Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving were rated as the third-best duo in the league in the next installment of the 2K series.

Brooklyn Nets fans don’t just have this upcoming season to be excited about, this also have a very appealing roster to play with this fall in NBA 2K20. Two players on the roster sported overalls the bested the 90 overall threshold.

The two shouldn’t come as a surprise, Kyrie Irving boasts an impressive 91 overall while Kevin Durant puts up his third straight year with a 95+ overall, scoring a 96 in the newest 2K video game.

Last year in Golden State, Durant posted averages of 26.0 points, 6.4 rebounds, and 5.9 assists on a ridiculously efficient 52.1 percent shooting from the field. Irving followed suit in Boston with averages of 23.8 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 6.9 assists on 48.7 percent shooting.

Out of all the new duos constructed in this summer’s chaotic offseason, Durant/Kyrie were rated third best out of the group.

As with every year when a new 2K is announced and the ratings are revealed, the response is mixed. It’s worth mentioning that at the end of the day this is just a video game and doesn’t reflect what level of success every aforementioned duo is going to have.

There are going to be a higher volume of gamers using the Brooklyn Nets this upcoming season in online play, chances are that Spencer Dinwiddie, Jarrett Allen, and DeAndre Jordan all register 80+ overalls. Had it not been for injury, Caris LeVert was well on his way in joining them after a very strong October and November.

Oh, and then there’s Joe Harris, who led the league in 3-Point percentage in the 2018/19 season—he was given the best the third highest three-point rating in the game with a 94.

Regardless of overall ratings, this is going to be a really fun roster to play with even with Durant out with injury.
