March 25th vs Los Angeles Clippers

In the latter half of the 2019/20 season, Kawhi Leonard and Paul George will make their lone visit to the Barclays Center. While there is no real history of bad blood or animosity, actually these are two organization that share a lot in common, this should be circled due to the prospect of a Kevin Durant return.

Nets GM Sean Marks hasn’t ruled out the possibility of Kevin Durant returning to play for the Nets in 2019-20 and if he would come back, the return date would be sometime in late March or early April. If Durant returned in late March, the matchup between KD/Kyrie & George/Leonard would be a battle of two of the league’s most dangerous duos.

The Clippers are amongst the favorites to come out of the Western Conference next year and this will be a great matchup for the Nets to compete and show how tough they are against the padlock perimeter defense of Los Angeles.

The Clippers and Nets are both considered the second team in their respective cities, but both landed big-name free agents in the offseason. Both teams are examples of organizations hiring good management and building a team up the right way. If Durant returns before this game, look for this matchup to be on either TNT or ESPN in a primetime slot.
