Brooklyn Nets point guard Kyrie Irving has been spotted working out in his latest signature sneaker; the Kyrie 6. Though it’s still unreleased, there’s a possible time table for its launch!
As seen below, Kyrie Irving was seen wearing his new sneakers during a workout in Los Angeles.

Kyrie’s signature shoe has emerged as one of the more popular choices for players to wear in-game, as 43 NBA players last season had worn or regularly wore Kyrie’s kicks. This is significantly higher than his new teammate, Kevin Durant whose signature shoe only warranted 24 endorsements from other players. (reference can be found here.)
With the patent leather on the upper and the Nike Zoom Turbo technology in the midsole, these sneakers will likely be a popular pick among NBA guards this season as they’ll allow for quick cuts with full ankle support.
Kyrie Irving’s sixth signature shoe has yet to have an official release date, however it’s safe to assume they’ll be launched by the beginning of the season, as it’s predecessor the Kyrie 5 was unveiled in November of 2018.
Just a few weeks ago, Nike participated in a fan-favorite collaboration with Spongebob. The Kyrie 5 received several different colorways to emulate some of the characters from the show. *Note: They were incredible and the Sandy Cheeks one was the best.*
Though on the Kyrie 5 there is a strap, the Kyrie 6 will be his first sneakers since the Kyrie 2 to feature a strap on the upper. It’s worth noting that the Kyrie 2 is the sneaker that Kyrie won his first championship in, so fingers crossed Brooklyn Nets fans.
What could possibly be the most exciting thing about these photos being released is the way the countless amount of ideas one can have for Brooklyn Nets colorways of the Kyrie 6. The All-Star and Finals colorways could be revolutionary to the sneaker game, and there are rumors of a planned homage to the Nike Air Yeezy 2 in the future for a possible Kyrie 6 colorway, as it’s one of Kyrie Irving’s favorite off-court sneakers.
Could the Kyrie 6 be his best sneaker yet?
