Brooklyn Nets All-Time Starting Lineup

2012-13 Brook Lopez
19.4 points, 6.9 rebounds and 2.1 blocks per game, 52.1 field-goal percentage
This season was probably the best individual season of Brook Lopez’s career up to this point, as he went on to make his first and only All-Star Game that season.
Lopez was pretty much automatic from inside any time he touched the ball, as his wide array of hook-shots, great mid-range shooting and driving abilities made him impossible to guard on any given night. With Lopez being a threat to shoot from mid-range, that also opened up driving lanes for Deron Williams and Joe Johnson to get their looks inside as well.
That season wasn’t the highest point per game average he’s ever posted, but if it wasn’t for Williams and Johnson still performing at high-levels, his point per game average could’ve been a lot more. Overall, this was a very fun season to watch, as they made the playoffs for the first time since 2007, and a completely different vibe surrounding the team including “Brooooklyn!” chants that would echo throughout the Barclays Center on a consistent basis.
The Nets went through some very rough stretches during Lopez’s tenure as a Net both in New Jersey and Brooklyn, but he eventually transformed his game, as he worked with then-head coach Kenny Atkinson on his three-point shot. Lopez drilled 134 threes in the 2016-17 season after only making three of them up to that point in his career. His newfound three-point prowess also earned him a chance to stay as a starter in this league.
Lopez was ultimately dealt to the Los Angeles Lakers in a deal for D’Angelo Russell in 2017 after being in trade rumors seemingly every season, but his desire to be a Net and stay through all the bad makes him a beloved Net to this day, and the franchise’s all-time leading points getter.
