Nets guard Spencer Dinwiddie had perfect advice for his teammates and NBA colleagues inside the bubble.

Brooklyn Nets guard Spencer Dinwiddie was pulled out of the NBA restart last week after he was still showing symptoms of COVID-19 nearly 10 days after contracting the virus. It goes without saying that his services will be missed, but he’s still going to do his best to support his teammates from afar.

Thanks to social media, it’s been pretty easy for Dinwiddie to stay up to date on what’s been transpiring inside the Orlando bubble. Well, during an interview with Bleacher Report host Taylor Rooks, the Colorado product offered up some words of advice for his Brooklyn teammates and NBA colleagues.

To nobody’s surprise, Dinwiddie took full advantage of the opportunity to advise players not to use the snitch hotline.

Of course, Dinwiddie’s joke comes on the heels of league insiders — specifically Shams Charania of The Athletic — reporting that there have been multiple tips of player violations made with the snitch hotline in recent days.

Additionally, Dinwiddie poked fun at Sacramento Kings big man Richaun Holmes, who is currently forced to quarantine after breaking the Disney World bubble boundaries to pick up a food delivery. Some might say it’s too soon to make light of that hilarious (and slightly ridiculous) development, but we’re all for it.

It’s been a tough few weeks for Dinwiddie, so it’s nice to hear he has the energy to joke around. He’s obviously been dealing with the virus and recently revealed his son needs to undergo a small procedure, though he didn’t reveal anything beyond that.

You can almost hear it in Dinwiddie’s voice that he wishes he could be at the center of the drama in Orlando. However, everyone would agree that his recovery is most important. After all, it’s not like he can’t continue cracking wise from wherever he’s self quarantining, right?
