2. Donta Hall

Donta Hall is another Nets G League fixture who could make a splash.

The signing of Donta Hall couldn’t have come at a better time for Nets fans, as it followed the uninspiring string of agreements with veterans Jamal Crawford, Michael Beasley and Tyler Johnson, who hold no future with the team.

The former Alabama big man wasn’t selected in the 2019 NBA Draft, but went on to become one of the G League’s most productive players.

In 30 games for the Grand Rapids Drive, he averaged 15.4 points and 10.6 rebounds on 66.9% shooting, which resulted in the Detroit Pistons calling him up for a four-game stretch in the middle of the season.

If Hall shines in Orlando, Brooklyn might have no choice but to extend his contract. There’s bound to be a few substitute signings that take the restart by storm, and we wouldn’t be the least bit surprised if Hall was one of them.
