1. Marcus Morris Sr.

You know whose contract would have to be sent to the Los Angeles Clippers in any scenario that would bring back Marcus Morris Sr.

I don’t need to say it again, Brooklyn Nets fans. You already have been hurting enough throughout the duration of this article — or are already planning on throwing darts while thinking of me.

Morris’ defense and switchability are what makes him such a smooth fit in Brooklyn, and his ability to take on the opposing team’s best defender would be a nice way to ease the physical strain on Kevin Durant.

His 3-point shooting and ability to play the small-ball center due to his rugged nature in the paint make him a nice fit with James Harden.

Let’s not forget that he also played with Kyrie Irving in Boston with decent success. Of course, the 2018-19 Celtics only made it to the Eastern Conference semifinals and ended up on the wrong side of a gentleman’s sweep, but this Brooklyn Nets team has two MVPs to avoid having Irving dribble possessions away in the postseason.

Morris has had success in the association across the East River, being the leading scorer and top-dog on the pre-bubble 2019-20 New York Knicks. Now, he can be a pivotal role player on an NBA Champion after his brother, Markieff, won his first with the Los Angeles Lakers.
