1. Andre Drummond

Andre Drummond would give the Nets a star at center.

Very rarely would one of the best defensive teams in the league look to trade away an experienced center that is almost leading the league in rebounding, but that’s the situation the Cavaliers find themselves in. The Mount Vernon native could be on the move, as Cleveland appears committed to letting Allen prove he could be their center of the future.

Even the most basic examination of Brooklyn’s current roster shows this is a very small team that gets pounded on the glass, lacks interior scoring, and has trouble stopping a nosebleed on their worst defensive nights. If Drummond engineers his way to Brooklyn via a buyout, all of Brooklyn’s problems could be solved.

Drummond is averaging 18.6 points per game, a figure that would become a career-high for the former UConn Husky, while snagging 14.2 rebounds per game. Getting him would relegate Jordan to the bench while still allowing the offense to be very open and fast-paced.

Drummond would see his production take a nosedive since he will have to sacrifice alongside Durant, Harden, and Irving. However, if Drummond is OK with not stuffing the stat sheet every night, he could earn himself a move to Brooklyn, where he, along with Iman Shumpert and a few other potential signings, could be a huge piece of their championship puzzle.
