No. 2: Andre Drummond to the Toronto Raptors

Bad news, Nets; Drummond could help the rival Raptors get a center.

The Raptors are mounting a ferocious comeback into the playoff picture after a 2-8 start, but their lack of quality play at center has been a source of frustration. Aron Baynes has been a constant disappointment, and Alex Len was waived after a handful of games, making their plan to replace Marc Gasol and Serge Ibaka a complete failure.

The Raptors have players like Norman Powell that can be moved in a trade, and the Cavaliers insisting on Jarrett Allen as their future center could land Drummond, who is averaging a career-high in points while totaling 14.2 boards per game, a trade to the Raptors in their temporary home in Tampa.

Drummond has been linked to the Nets recently if he ends up getting bought out, as he could supplant DeAndre Jordan in the starting lineup while giving the Nets a ferocious rebounder, post scorer, and interior defender who isn’t going to command the ball frequently.

The likes of Kyle Lowry and Pascal Siakam will make the Raptors a competitive team, but adding a bulldozer like Drummond could help them put their poor start completely in the past as they assert themselves as a contender. Toronto has proven they can beat Brooklyn, and it could be much easier to do so if they get Drummond.
