1. Brook Lopez

In 2008, New Jersey drafted Brook Lopez with the No. 10 pick and he made an immediate impact on the organization. He averaged 13 points, 8.1 rebounds, and shot 53% from the floor during his rookie year, and was named to the NBA’s All-Rookie First Team.

Lopez played in all 82 games his first three seasons, but broke his foot and played in only five games in his fourth season (which was also shortened because of the lockout). A year later, Lopez averaged a career-high 20.7 points per game, but broke his foot again in 2013-14 season and played in only 17 games.

In 2015-16, Lopez led New Jersey to its third consecutive playoff appearance. In his final two seasons with the Nets, he averaged 20+ points per game.

In his final game with New Jersey, Lopez scored 25 points to break Williams’ scoring record on Apr. 10, 2017.

He averaged 18.6 points, 7.1 rebounds, and 1.6 blocks and shot 50.6% from the floor in 562 games. Lopez’s 972 blocks remain the best in franchise history, and his 4,005 rebounds are good for third on the Nets’ all-time list.

From 2008-2017, Lopez scored 10,444 points.

Lopez and the Bucks beat the Nets in the 2021 Eastern Conference Semifinals and he went on to win his first NBA Championship.
