Warriors vs. Nets prediction and odds for Wednesday, December 21 (Nets easy bet at home)

A six-game winning streak is on the line for the Brooklyn Nets on Wednesday when they host the Golden State Warriors at Barclays Center.

The Warriors are in a tailspin right now with Stephen Curry out, losing 132-94 to the New York Knicks in their last game and starting the season just 3-15 straight up on the road.

They’re in big trouble against the Nets, who have won nine of their last 10 games, as Andrew Wiggins and Klay Thompson both are expected to miss this game.

Kevin Durant and the Nets are 11th in the NBA in net rating this season, and they’ve been solid at home, going 10-5 this season.

This line is a lot to lay with the Nets, who have only covered in five of their 13 games as home favorites this season, but it’s the way to go with so many key players out for Golden State.

The Warriors have been terrible on the road, going 4-14 against the spread, and their young players struggled against the Knicks on Tuesday night.

The Nets have even more offensive firepower than New York, who just dropped 132 points on the Dubs. Golden State’s defensive rating on the road this season is 29th in the NBA, and the team is 21st overall in DRTG this season.

Durant, Kyrie Irving and company should feast on this Warriors defense, and I doubt that Golden State has the offensive firepower to keep up with Curry, Wiggins and Thompson all out.

Jordan Poole is going to have to carry the Warriors if they want to cover in this game, and he played well against the Knicks, yet the team was still blown out.

Fading the Warriors on the road has been extremely profitable, so I’m going back to it on Wednesday.
