4. Cam Thomas

Cam Thomas has come out of nowhere and immediately inserted himself into the conversation for Most Improved Player. With Brooklyn Nets players Spencer Dinwiddie and Cam Johnson injured, Thomas asserted himself into the starting lineup and may stay there for the foreseeable future. He is currently averaging career-highs in points (28.7), field goal percentage (48.3%), rebounds (4.0), assists (2.4), and steals (1.0).

Thomas mentioned in a recent interview that when he and Kevin Durant were teammates in Brooklyn, they would go back and forth with each other, and at times, Thomas would even get the upper hand over the superstar.

In the loss against the Celtics, Thomas played great, as he had 27 points, five rebounds, three assists, a steal, and a block.

He followed that up with 45 against Milwaukee. If he keeps this up, he can have an exceptional career and build a solid trio for the Nets.

3. Cade Cunningham

After only playing 12 games last season due to injuries, Cade Cunningham has looked much better so far this season. Cunningham is averaging 23.1 points and 7.3 assists per game. He is also shooting the three-pointer much better, making 36.2% of them so far this year.

He has looked much better from three due to working on that part of his game in the offseason and having much more confidence in himself.
