25. Los Angeles Clippers

The Los Angeles Clippers sacrificed much of their depth when they went all-in to acquire James Harden. Their bench unit heavily relies on Terance Mann, Bones Hyland, and Norman Powell.

24. Los Angeles Lakers

The Los Angeles Lakers spent a lot of money in the offseason improving the bench. Rob Pelinka brought in Gabe Vincent, Christian Wood, Cam Reddish, and Jaxson Hayes. LA’s bench unit has started slow and has been banged up. The Lakers bench has a net rating of -2.9.

23. Miami Heat

The Miami Heat bench is not good, and now, due to injuries, their best bench player is Duncan Robinson. However, there is not much to be excited about outside of him.

22. Memphis Grizzlies

The main problem with the Memphis Grizzlies’ bench unit is their lack of guard depth. Derrick Rose is having a fine season, but outside of him, their other guards are nothing to ride home about. As for Rose, it’s tough to rely on a player with his injury history.

21. Phoenix Suns

The Phoenix Suns are not supposed to be known for their depth, as they have one of if not the best starting lineups in basketball. However, Grayson Allen and Josh Okogie have been solid. Outside those ex-ACC stars, there is little helpful depth.
