Not Expendable: Mikal Bridges

Mikal Bridges is not expendable, and the Nets' front office should view him as untouchable. Ever since Bridges was acquired from the Phoenix Suns, his career has skyrocketed, and he has broken out. Bridges should be the face of the franchise and is an All-star and All-NBA player. Bridges will become a superstar if he can keep up this phenomenal play.

Expendable: Ben Simmons

The Nets should look to cut ties to end the Ben Simmons rejuvenation and trade him while he still has value. They acquired him from the Philadelphia 76ers for James Harden. Ever since the 2020-2021 season, he has been a shell of his former self due to injuries and a lack of confidence. However, despite no longer being a double-digit scorer like he once was, he is still a good rebounder and playmaker.

Some teams will be looking to make a push and take on Simmons and hope he becomes a solid player. Simmons needs to get away from big markets such as Philadelphia and Brooklyn. A small market such as Indiana or San Antonio could be great for Simmons.
