3 players it would make no sense for Brooklyn to trade

Sean Marks shouldn't even think about partying with these three players

With the Brooklyn Nets looking like at least a play-in team this season, many fans think about who the Nets should acquire to make them more competitive in the East. But who should the Nets strive to keep as they go through these negotiations?

Before we begin, I want to make it clear that these players should be kept unless there is a chance to trade for a superstar. However, I don't believe any superstars will be traded during the season. That will probably begin again next summer.

3. Cam Thomas

Thomas has been suffering lately with an ankle injury, but he is due to come back very soon, and the Nets need his scoring prowess.

He has become quite an asset for the Nets, as he is only 22 years old and is already averaging almost 27 points per game in his eight games this season. Thomas has consistently shown that he could score (even in his limited minutes before this season), but he is finally getting the opportunity to be a #1 scorer that the Nets don't really have.

Yes, Mikal Bridges is still the best player on the Nets, but he is not the same caliber of scorer as Thomas.

It wouldn't make sense for the Nets to trade their leading scorer unless there is a falling out, but you never know in today's NBA, so we have to make it clear to general manager Sean Marks - don't trade Cam!
