The Brooklyn Nets have a brutal 15-game December schedule that includes a lengthy west coast road trip, an in-city rivalry, the Milwaukee Bucks, and a trip to Oklahoma City on New Year's Eve. Brooklyn could very well be under .500 when 2024 begins.

Brooklyn Nets December game-by-game predictions

December 2 vs. Orlando Magic: Loss

With their first game of December, they square off against the Orlando Magic. The Magic are red hot, young, and hungry, with a record of 12-5. The Magic will win this matchup due to the solid play from Paolo Banchero and Franz Wagner.

December 6 at Atlanta Hawks: Win

The Nets lost a heartbreaker to Atlanta the night before Thanksgiving, 147-145 in overtime, but will get redemption this time around in Atlanta. Mikal Bridges scored 45 points in Atlanta last week but will get the Nets over the hump as their stingy defense slows down Trae Young's Hawks.

December 8 vs. Washington Wizards: Win

The Wizards are 3-15, and the Nets need as many wins against bad teams as possible. They won't lose to Jordan Poole, Kyle Kuzma, and Washington.

December 11 at Sacramento Kings: Loss

The Nets begin a five-game road trip against the Sacramento Kings. The Kings are 5-1 at home this season, and their fans will see the beam lit, especially with the Nets being under .500 on the road.
