Food (cont.)

I haven’t been in Downtown Brooklyn enough to have tried everything, so here are some other grub spots that might be worth your time (and stomach).

Other Notable Restaurants

1) Shake Shack

I’m not a huge fan of burgers, but some of my friends are obsessed with Shake Shack, so it’s worth mentioning. The Shack Shack by the Barclays Center (it’s literally right across the street) only recently opened, but I’m sure it’s a popular destination for those seeking grub before and after a game. Well, it’s the only place I know that has shroom burgers, so I guess that’s something special.

2) Artichoke Pizza

Artichoke is a bit further down from Barclays (like SkyIce), but it’s probably worth the hype, and I’d like to try the pizza at some point. A single slice goes for $5, so at least for me, it’d be a one-time shindig. Artichoke has branches all over the city — East Village, Chelsea, Greenwich Village, Astoria, and Park Slope, so if you’re not around in Brooklyn, no need to worry, you could grab a slice just about anywhere in NYC. Oh and they even have one in Berkeley, California, so TJ, you have no excuse.

3) Buffalo Wild Wings

Located in Atlantic Terminal, Buffalo Wild Wings is known for its blazing hot wings. I’m not a fan of wings either (you might notice the trend of how I handle sticky, messy foods), but I only hear good things about this wing joint. Wings and other sticky foods seem to be a good match with sports games though, so it could be worth trying.
