Player of the Game

A. Brook Lopez is 29 years old and one day. After a strong game on Saturday night against the Orlando Magic, Lopez followed it up with a 29-point night. Lopez was dominant early and carried the Nets throughout the game. He moved even closer to surpassing Buck Williams’ franchise points record with the big performance.. C. Brooklyn Nets. BROOK LOPEZ

PG. Brooklyn Nets. JEREMY LIN. A-. Lin was efficient against the Hawks. He and Lopez, AKA the Brook-Lin combo, buoyed the Nets early in the game, especially with an underperforming bench. Lin controlled the pace late in the game, not rushing or wavering when the Hawks tried to make a comeback. He made some clutch free throws late in the game and assisted on a Trevor Booker dunk to seal the game. This is the Lin we wanted to see all season!

C. Sean Kilpatrick, like many of his other second-unit teammates, struggled with shooting. Kilpatrick shot 1-of-8 from the field and 0-of-5 from three.
