Key Plays
The Nets struggled to find their stroke early on, with two air balls marking some of their first shot attempts. Rondae Hollis-Jefferson continued his streak of emphatic slams Wednesday night with this one to even the game up at four.

Despite Caris LeVert and Hollis-Jefferson carrying the team for most of the first quarter, the rest of the team could not get going, and Brooklyn’s turnovers began piling up. Led by Jimmy Butler and Paul Zipser, Chicago closed the quarter on a 16-2 run and held a 27-13 advantage after the first 12 minutes. The Nets committed eight turnovers in the first quarter, and all nine available Nets had suited up by the end of the period.
The rest of the game continued in similar fashion, with Brooklyn never able to cut the deficit to anywhere close to manageable. But, if you’re looking for a good highlight reel for the Nets in a disheartening 39-point loss, this jam by LeVert in the third quarter is pretty darn nice (even with the team down by 18 at that point).
