NBA Finals free agents the Nets should and shouldn’t target
The Brooklyn Nets may want to add talent with championship experience. There is no better culture than a winning culture. Players on winning teams could bring the intangibles to a young team like Brooklyn.
The NBA Finals have officially begun. After a week of waiting, the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Golden State Warriors finally collided. Judging from the results of Game 1, the NBA offseason could very well begin early.
Should LeBron James not lead a heroic comeback for the Cavaliers, free agent season will begin very soon. The Brooklyn Nets will be a team that looks dramatically different next season. The team figures to have plenty of cap space to spend. If they want, the front office could elect to use their roster spots in other ways.
Salary dumps are a distinct possibility. This would be a concession of this upcoming season for the future good of the team. Draft picks would likely be the real prize of that type of deal. Draft picks do not fill stadiums though.

Dream on. The players Marks should be looking at are the free agents that could be enticed by a bloated contract. Said bloated contracts will have to be handed to role-playing bench players.
Here are those that Marks should look at and who he should avoid.
