There was no transition period for Shaun Livingston. In 2004, the #2 ranked player in the nation dove right into the fray. After deciding to bypass college, he was selected by the Los Angeles Clippers with the 4th pick in the 2004 NBA draft. At the age of 19, he would need to learn adjust to the throng of new patterns and plays that are inevitably hurled at any NBA rookie.

By his third season with the Clippers he was developing into a skillful player dropping close to 10 points and 5 assists a contest.  A hallmark of his game – EFFICIENCY – was on display with a FG% of 46.3 that season.

Livingston sustained a devastating knee injury in 2007, and put him out of commission for nearly two years. The injury was well publicized, but the effects seemed to linger on long after the camera lights dimmed.
