Kevin Durant had a perfect response to an Instagram post by Slam Magazine

For as much flack as Kevin Durant catches for being sensitive and responding to trolls on social media, he doesn’t get nearly enough credit for cracking hilarious jokes, which he seems to do on a regular basis.

On Wednesday, the Brooklyn Nets star responded to a post on Instagram by Slam Magazine that asked followers to tag people that wouldn’t be able to guard you in a one-on-one game. As expected, a lot of folks took the request seriously.

Durant, however, viewed it as an opportunity to come at the jugular of a few of his most trusted companions. To avoid spoiling the reveal, let’s just say that his list included two Nets teammates,  two family members and a former president of the United States.

The 10-time All-Star started things off with calling out Kyrie Irving, then proceeded to tag rapper Drake, former POTUS Barack Obama (!), Caris LeVert, Theo Pinson, his brother Tony, as well as his beloved mother, Wanda, who he famously called “the real MVP” after winning his first MVP award with the Oklahoma City Thunder back in 2014.

Truth be told, nobody on that list — LeVert and his lanky 6-foot-6 frame aside — would stand a chance at defending Durant on the hardwood, so the 31-year-old superstar is spitting nothing but facts here.

Let this serve as a warning to all of Durant’s supposed entourage the next time a news outlet asks its followers to put somebody who you’d dominate mano-a-mano on blast. If we learned anything from this list, it’s that nobody in KD’s inner circle is safe.

However, it’s important to note that I would pay upwards of $1,000 to watch Durant take on Obama one-on-one, and at least double that to watch him posterize President Trump.
